Rising to the top of 32 teams, these graduating Applied Engineering Sciences (AES) and Supply Chain Management (SCM) majors flipped the field with a solution for BP PLC in their project: Effective Usage of Producer Price Indexation Analysis.

Excerpt from team communication after winning the Michael Sadler Competitive Edge Award:

“First, on behalf of myself, Michael, Julia, Louis, and Tre we all thank you very much for choosing our capstone project to receive the Michael Sadler Competitive Edge Award. Words cannot describe the excitement we all felt when we received Dr. Genik’s email awarding all the groups!

Second, throughout our project we tried to demonstrate good character, leadership, and innovation while ‘flipping the field’ in our capstone project as Michael Sadler once did on the football field. Mrs. Sadler, thank you especially, for your input. We are honored to have received this award on behalf of AES and carrying out Mike’s memory and his high-standard for success both socially and professionally.
